Dubai already has hundred's of hotels to choose from for the time of your stay in the city and every month, there are new openings. However, there is only a small number of hotels which we have been waiting for for a long time and one of those "long awaited" ones has just opened: BVLGARI Resort Dubai. After Armani and Palazzo Versace Dubai is proud to be able to offer the Bulgari brand in it's portfolio of Italian branded hotels.
BVLGARI Resort Dubai opened in December 2017 on the manmade Jumeirah Bay island, an island in the shape of a seahorse connected by a 300m long bridge to Dubai's coastline. It's just a 20 minutes drive to the fascinating Downtown Dubai with Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, right opposite of the residential area Jumeirah.
The resort has 101 rooms and suits and 20 villas with private pools. It offers six different categories of room types starting with superior room which has a size of 55sqm and a balcony. All rooms, suits and villas have a very clear and typically Bulgari design. Once you enter the lobby you can already get a feeling of the hotel. It looks more like a living room than a hotel entrance for me. As said, clear lines, lot of natural brown colors and wood used. No Arabic style - actually it wouldn't fit with Armani as an Italian brand.

There are two wings of the hotel with beach/city or marina (yacht club) views. Difference in the room is basically the view, all rooms do have same interior with many interconnecting rooms available (possibility of confirmation upon booking!).

The absolute non-plus-ultra are their 20 villas. They are super spacious. I have visited the three bedroom skyline view villa. All villas have a private garden with swimming pool.

A little bit of extra information: All villas of course have private butlers speaking the language as requested by the guests. The butler can also stay overnight in an extra room in the villa, accessible from outside obviously. There is shoe polish provided in each villa and their staff will polish your shoes in the original "Berluti way". They have all learned the professional 5-step way to make the most of your shoes with the Berluti method.

Of course, the BVLGARI Resort Dubai offers a gym with state-of-the-art machines from Europe as well as a female and male spa with shared indoor pool. The female spa relaxation lounge has a magnificent view to the beach.

The BVLGARI Resort has a quiet private beach at a kind of bay and just behind is also their outdoor pool (and kids club).

Dining options at BVLGARI include "Il Cafe" overlooking the marina, their Michelin starred Restaurant "Il Ristorante ' Niko Romito" introduces the real Italian cuisine to it's guests. They further have a Yacht Club Restaurant specialising in seafood overlooking the 50 berths.
